What’s Covered?
We provide warranty coverage on our products and installations, giving you confidence in your investment:
Installation Warranty
- All Broadview installations are covered by a 12-month warranty.
- Any installations by third parties are not covered under our warranty.
- Additional service visits outside of the 12-month period will be chargeable.

- Fabric/Hardware – 2 Years
- Motors & Sensors – 5 Years
- Lighting – 2 Years
- Electronics – 3 Years
- Remote Controls – 5 Years
- Consumables (e.g. batteries) – 6 Months
Plantation Shutters
- Product Guarantee – 3 Years
Silent Gliss Curtains
- Hardware & Motors – 5 Years
- Fabric – 1-3 Years (subject to supplier)
Somfy Motorised Systems
- Motors & Sensors – 5 Years
- Remote Controls – 5 Years (excluding damage or misuse)
Heating Solutions
- Brustor Heating Hardware – 2 Years
- Brustor Heating Elements/Bulbs – 6 Months
- Bromic Heating – 3-5 Years (dependent on model)
- Broadview Heat Receivers – 2 Years
Louvolite Products
- Motors, Remote Controls & Battery Packs – 1 Year
Luxaflex Blinds
- Hardware, Components & Motors – 5 Years

Warranty Conditions & Exclusions
The warranty remains valid as long as the product is used as intended. However, it does not cover damage caused by:
- Accidents, misuse, or neglect
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Third-party installations
- Normal wear and tear
All warranty claims must be supported by proof of purchase and a description of the issue. Any repairs or replacements made under warranty do not extend the warranty period.
Service Call-Out Charges
If your warranty has expired or an issue is outside of coverage, our call-out fees apply:
- £75 (within 10 miles of our head office)
- £150 (up to 1-hour travel)
- £250 (up to 2-hour travel)
- £350 (over 2-hour travel)
This fee covers assessment and reporting. If further work is needed, a detailed quote will be provided within 7 working days.
