The Brief
This homeowner was at their wit’s end trying to find a company that could design and install a set of blinds to fit the unique shape of their master bedroom window. Luckily, their search finally led them to Broadview, and we could provide the perfect solution!
The Solution
We first undertook a free home visit to measure up and gain an understanding of the space and the client’s needs. It was immediately clear that traditional blinds would not be suitable for the window in question, which was pentagonal in shape.
As a solution, we suggested automated Blackout Duette® Blinds from Hunter Douglas. Hunter Douglas are masters when it comes to creating blinds that are well-suited for unusual window shapes, whilst a Somfy automated system would eliminate the added complexity of pull chords.
The Result
The result is a set of perfectly fitted blackout blinds that provide total darkness when closed to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep. The client selected Elan Blackout Agate Grey as their fabric colour of choice, which perfectly complements the surrounding décor and colour palette.
The electric blinds are equipped with a Somfy 240 Volt RTS motor and can be effortlessly opened and closed with a remote control. The Somfy RTS motor offers totally smooth operation and is almost completely silent, making it the ultimate solution for convenient window shading.
