Recently we were asked to solve a problem for the new RNLI lifeboat National Training College in Dorset. We installed electric blackout cassetted roller blinds at the college swimming pool training room. The room has a large pool where night time at sea is simulated and RNLI students are trained .The room not only needed to be blacked out but due to the dampness the fabric had to be able to cope with humidity and as they are out of reach for manual operation automation was the only solution.
The cassetted system with fabric side channels can cope with large glazed areas and offers a compact solution.
The end result was achieved on time and within budget therefore our client was totally satisfied.
