Since the Smoking Ban of 2007 there has been a demand for establishments to provide sufficient outdoor environments where clients can remain dry and warm. Since the ban we have completed over 1000 installations nationwide and the feedback has been very positive.
Quite simply those that have invested in covered facilities have seen quick returns as clients are more inclined to dine or drink where facilities are the most pleasant.
A well lit dry area with heaters creates a mood for your clients to stay in your pub, hotel or restaurant for longer therefore creating better revenues for the business.
Now some time on from the ban the UK has adopted the continental approach to outdoor facilities.
For example since installing an awning and heating at Francos Italian Restaurant in Dorset the owner explains….
The awning has attracted more clients through the door as it simply looks like a place with a good outdoor atmosphere hence attracting more customers. The public like to go out where there are other people and they can see I’m busy from under the awning.
Also added were large planters with palms and good ambient lighting along with stub out smoking bins.
